Managing your Calendar Sync in CRM As A Service

Managing appointments and tasks across multiple platforms can be overwhelming. Syncing your calendar ensures that events scheduled in CRM—like meetings, calls, or reminders—automatically appear in your Outlook calendar, and vice versa. This saves you time by eliminating the need for duplicate entries and streamlines your workflow, as all activities are reflected in the CRM As A Service calendar without needing to switch between systems.


Here’s how you can configure Calendar Sync and how it works:

Setting Up Calendar Synchronization

Getting started with calendar sync is easy. Follow these steps to integrate CRM with Outlook:

  1. Open CRM as a Service within Microsoft Teams.

  2. Navigate to the Settings menu.

  3. In the User Settings section, select Calendar Synchronization.

  4. Click the Connect button to link your CRM with Outlook.

Once the connection is established, all scheduled activities in CRM will automatically populate in your Outlook calendar, helping you manage your schedule more effectively.

CRM Calendar View

After successfully setting up Calendar Sync, you can take advantage of the integrated Calendar View within the CRM As A Service app itself. This view provides a consolidated look at your schedule:


Calendar View

  • Activities created directly within the CRM app will appear in Blue. You are able to edit these activities directly from the CRM Calendar View.

  • Activities that have been synced from your Outlook or Teams calendar will appear in Purple. These activities are viewable within the CRM Calendar View for your reference, but you are unable to edit them directly in the CRM.

Calendar synchronization in CRM As A Service works from CRM to Outlook. When an activity is scheduled or updated within the CRM, it will automatically appear in your Outlook calendar.
