Configure User Permission in Microsoft Teams Ticketing App by TeamsWork

Hi All,


It may occur that you do not want certain individuals to view or edit specific fields in the ticket form. This is why you have the option to configure user permissions, allowing only selected individuals to have access to these fields.

How to configure the user permission

Navigate to the Settings area and select the "User Permission" tab. A permission defines who has the ability to view or edit the field.



List of available user permissions are listed here:


Everybody Can Edit

Default setting where everyone can view and edit the field's content.


Assignee Private Field

Requestors won't be able to view the content of this field.


Assignee Cannot Edit

After the ticket has been created, assignees will not have the ability to change the content of this field.


Requestor Cannot Edit

After the ticket has been created, requestors will not have the ability to change the content of this field.


Requestor & Assignee Cannot Edit

After the ticket has been created, both requestors and assignees will not have the ability to change the content of this field. However, a Ticket owner can still modify the field's content.


Nobody Can Edit

After the ticket has been created, requestors, assignees, and ticketing owners will not have the ability to change the content of this field.


Requestor Read-Only

Requestors cannot edit the content of this field, including during ticket creation.
